A Note from Hepler’s Hardware on Services and Coronavirus
As the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we have taken additional steps to best meet the needs of our customers, employees, and vendors, in keeping with guidance from the CDC and PA Department of Health.
Regular store hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm. Saturday, 8am-5pm. (CLOSED SUNDAYS.) Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30-9:30am are encouraged for Senior Citizens and immunocompromised shoppers. These times typically have the fewest guests in the store.
Social Distancing & Masks
In keeping with guidance from government and health officials, all employees, customers, and vendors are reminded to maintain 6ft physical distance between one-another, and everyone is required to wear a mask on the premises.
Customers can purchase our STIHL products online. Go to HeplersHardware.com (or StihlDealers.com, search zip code 15672). Buy online, then pick-up in store. You will be notified when your order is ready for pick-up. Please call ahead to confirm order status or schedule pick-up, and ensure we have it assembled (if needed) and ready for you. Products & Services
Due to the increased demand, our response times may be delayed, and certain products may be on back-order. As always, customers can let us know what they need, and we’ll do our best to get those products for them. (Our worldwide suppliers are keeping us informed of various impacts on manufacturing and shipping. Disposable masks and gloves, cleaning products, and paper products are most impacted.) As needed, we reserve the right to limit purchases of high demand products.
Small engine repairs continue in our shop. All equipment customers should check-in at the front door with a cashier. Fencing estimates and orders are still being provided, but deliveries and installations may be delayed.
In response to COVID-19, we have increased frequency of high-touch areas. We are installing additional Plexiglas to separate the cashier and customer at checkout lanes and customer service areas. Restrooms and water fountains are closed to the public.
Employee Health and Safety
We continue to provide our employees with information and tools to keep them safe, including the directive to stay at home and get checked if they experience any symptoms. Please help us extend a sincere thank you to our employees who work hard every day to ensure customers have access to things they need.
Our dedicated management team is continually addressing any and all changes to policies and procedures as conditions change. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers as we work through this together.
